As you know I'm still in the service, Air Force now as an officer, 10 more to hit 30 years of service. Need to have a ships re-union. Look forward to hearing old sea stories and seeing friends who I steamed many a mile with. Keep up the great work on the web page. By far the best I've ever seen.

looking for some old shipmates from A,E+R Divisions, but have not heard from any of them yet. Biddle was a
good ship with a great crew. Looking back, it seems hard to believe how much we were underway. Three MED
Cruises and a North Atlantic, plus Carribean workups. After I left recruiting duty in 1993 I was offered the USS
Fox (CG-33) out of San Diego and decommed her a year later. We got the sad news that we were decommisioning
half way through WESTPAC.

The biddle is where it all started to shape my long standing carreer in the service, some of you might say
that I am a lifer, well, that's seems to be true. I remember those long cruises and long night at sea but hey
we all getting older and everything in the past are memories to remember. From experience we learn to grow,
by growing, we learn to give by giving we let others experience life. Since I lost touch with the important people
that guided me most especially during my transition period being in the US. I just want to let you know guys that
I still remember each and everyone of you and GOD BLESS TO EVERYONE.

Comments: i really like what you've done.
I has made my dad happy to see that there were others out there that loved his ship as much as he did.
It has opened hul up in talking to me more about the military.
Over 3 yeas ago i started my military career, my father wasnt too crazy about that.
He can see allot of him in me when he was in.
I recently visited Korea, and he told me what to expect.
I didnt believe him and it took my breath away.
He has helped me grow as his son and militairly.
Ive read your emails to him and he and i get smiles on our faces.
He may be slow to respond but he is new to this web thing.
I think it would be gerat to have a meeting to see the others that have been missed over these long years.
Well thanks for all that youve done!!!!

In 1994 I was at the war college when she was towed up to Quonset Point, RI for scrapping. I used to give friends pierside toursas they were cutting her up. Biddle still exists, partially dismantled in Philadelphia, where she was towed after her scrapper was shut down for EPA violations. The city of Philadelphia would not let me in last January to see her hulk. if I get achance I will scan in some photos of her last year and during scrapping.
