No Fooling!

Biddle is Underway Again!

Ship's Historian James Treadway is very pleased to announce that Captain David L. Boslaugh USN (Ret.) and RADM Tom Marfiak of the U.S. Naval Institute will contibute to Hard Charger!

Many of you have read David's outstanding book, When Computers Went to Sea - The Digitization of the United States Navy. His extensive knowledge of the NTDS will add depth to Hard Charger! that would be difficult to find elsewhere.

Tom's publishing and writing experience have brought some outstanding ideas to the process that have resulted in some changes already.

More information on this phenomenal project can be found at http://home.flash.net/~treadwaj/Biddle_Book.htm". IF you are interested in contributing a submission, please contact Jim Treadway at:treadwaj@flash.net.

All Hands Reunion:

We are working on plans for the Virginia Beach Reunion for the Spring of 2005. Jim Bowman has volunteered to take the point on this project and will be recruiting some help from emails that we have received. You can be a part of the decision making process - just contact Jim Bowman at jmsbwm@fuse.net or Ken Ely at webmaster@ussbiddle.org to help arrange this reunion.

If you would like to join our corps of reunion volunteers, please contact us at Volunteers@USSBiddle.org

Wanted: Programmers

As always, if you are interested in helping with the website or with the BIDDLEGRAM, please contact Brian Bennett at Quarterdeck@USSBiddle.org. He just opened his law practice and is having trouble finding the time to keep up with many of the tasks he has at at the website.

We are considering adding an automated crewlist updater - one that would enable you to update your info in real time. If you have PERL or CGI experience, please contact us.
(DS1 Kincade, don't make me come and get you - BFB)
