Rick Dembinski is a professional photgrapher who has loved all things ships since he was a little boy.  "I have photographed ships every chance that I have gotten as well as touring every museum ship that I have come across."

"I am trying to preserve for future generations the things that we have seen and done as they relate to the Navy."  This includes turning his Chicago-area home and photography studio into a de facto museum for all things Navy.  Several water-tight doors from the Biddle are now integral parts of his home.  One door is the entrance to his studio!  Rick also maintains a collection of toy boats and ship models that span from the 1950's to the present.

Although Rick never served in the Navy, his son is currently in the Marine Corps.  "My son said he will get me on a ship — I can't wait!"
