The USS Biddle Association, publisher of USSBiddle.org, is committed to maintaining the privacy of personal information that you provide to us when visiting USSBiddle.org. This Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information received about you when you visit USSBiddle.org.
Information We Collect
When you use certain features of this site, you may be asked to voluntarily disclose some personally identifiable information from you that may include your name, address and e-mail address. This is purely voluntary and we will not disseminate this information to any third parties without first receiving your permission.
Names on the Crew List:
When you submit your name, rank, email address, arrival and departure dates to the "Ship's Company" via quarterdeck@ussbiddle.org we will post this information to the website for others to see.Only name, rank, email address, arrival and departure dates submitted to quarterdeck@ussbiddle.org will be posted on the "Ship's Company" list. Names and email addresses from our Guestbook entries, postings to the "Scuttlebutt" page and purchases from the Ship's Store will not be added to our "Ship's Company" list. This list is maintained for the purpose of re-uniting former crewmembers with their friends and shipmates.
This list is not to be used for commercial purposes by any third party. When the USS Biddle Association discovers that any third party has used this information for commercial purposes, we will take whatever legal action we deem is appropriate. Links to Other Web Sites
We may make content or services from other Web sites available to you from links located on USSBiddle.org. These other Web sites are not subject to this Privacy Policy. We recommend that you review the privacy policy at each such Web site to determine how that site protects your privacy.
